Vykon response to USA tariffs going back into effect.

As the U.S.A/Canada tariffs and counter tariffs go into effect today Tuesday March 4, 2025, our strategy for strengthening our supply chain and mitigating effects of the tariffs is based on the following.

• 1. In the immediate short-term, we do not expect the measures we put in place to directly impact you.
     
     
  2. “Duty-free de minimis treatment….is available for goods under 19 U.S.C. 1321” meaning shipments from Canada at or below the US$800 threshold can still enter the U.S.A without incurring duties or tariffs, until “adequate systems are in place to fully and expeditiously process and collect tariff revenue applicable….” https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/03/amendment-to-duties-to-address-the-flow-of-illicit-drugs-across-our-northern-border/
     
     
  3. Planning for the long-term, we are utilizing every possible and available option, collaborating with partners across the border to reduce risks. Our goal is to continually attempt to offset additional costs and potential impacts to you.
